I like being outside… especially when faced with chores. I sew with duct tape. I’m heavily invested in staring out the window trying not to miss anything. The dust and laundry are piling up.
I'm the mother of these two amazing people...
Melissa, your site is great!! Love the “sweet thunder thighs” reference to your amazing bee photos!!!
Not sure if I am doing this right, but would love and enjoy your photo postings.

I’d be honored Lisa. Thanks so much! I thought we were going to move to Arizona years ago for a job and I was so worried about missing the seasons and having an out of control flower garden. But each year I have a tougher time with the winter…ugh!
August 19, 2011 at 7:59 pm
P.S. I’m a Michigan native begrudgingly living in Arizona. Don’t mind if I stalk your site for my Michigan fix.
August 19, 2011 at 5:37 pm
As for dust and laundry – it’s sure to be there tomorrow as well, but the sunset on a particular evening, a flower in the garden, a toadstool lit by rays from the sun – all those things will never come back looking exactly the same!
August 24, 2011 at 12:10 pm
So well articulated… and my sentiments exactly. There are so many wonderful moments in each day.

I just found your site and I’m wondering whether you sell prints of your photos? I know that a set of 4 or 5 would get one of my Christmas presents out of the way early.
August 8, 2012 at 1:35 pm
Hi Dave, I do sell my prints. If you send me an email I’ll respond with a price list okay? Sorry for the delayed response; these vacations were getting in the way. (: Not a real “problem”! My email is email@example.com. Thanks for your interest!
