Mother Nature will stab you.

Today’s sensational headline is inspired by the following ridiculous headline passed to me by my dear friend Rev. Paul.

Poll: Santorum Comes From Behind in Alabama Three-way

One of the more prominent trail signs in the Cannonsburg State Game Area. I also snapped a picture of the letter D carved into a tree trunk that was pretty cool.

An acorn on a mossy log

The area is filled with meandering streams. Water rushing over rocks is fantastic as is hanging your legs over the edge of a bridge.

Mother Nature will stab you.
A sweet solution and handy ramp.

Black and white isn’t my favorite photography and that probably makes me untrendy, but i actually like your first photo on the post the best!

  2. I don’t even want to know what an Alabama three-way is.

  3. ditto the B&W, dear friend. by putting it first, it actually makes a nice contrast to the colorful damp stuff.
you do this blawg thing real good and if i had a hat i’d tip it to you but contrary to what some people still think about Texas as a place where everybody wears boots and J.R. cowboy hats and “tawks lak this,” not all of us wear boots and hats. Although, it has been said that I “tawk lak this.”
have a good week, mah little chickadee.

    • Right Paul,

When I spent an academic year in Syracuse I did not think I had a southern accent. I was corrected – Louis “say truuuck” and everyone laughed. They didn’t have accents though – how does one spell footbawal. I can say it but cannot phonetically spell it. Man those New Yawkers taulk funny.

      • My freshman year of college there was a guy from Brooklyn and another from Lackawanna, New Yok, on my floor and they were always saying, with straight faces, that us Texans tawk funny. We finally tied them up in a room together one night and made em listen to Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys music all night.
So help me remember, Louie Louie–what does this conversation have to do with Melissa’s thorny Mother Nature pictures anyway?
And for God’s sake cut that hair; have you no shame mountain man?

(: This accent chatter is better than packing kids’ lunches. I’m pretty sure I’m the only one NOT tawkin’ funny around here! I enunciate according to the enunciation key next to a word’s definition. lol
