the hang out

I was surprised to see so many animals this morning since temperatures are crazy warm. Warm rain in February is ridiculous.

Things look serene around here, but that’s rarely the case. The background noise in these pics are the sounds of constant large aircrafts carrying presidential hopefuls, my eldest tap dancing to blaring music and the youngest yelling she was tangled in her shirt.

  1. So the deer aren’t the only ones examining turkeys.

  4. Really great pictures! I don’t usually see my deer hangin’ with my turkey; however, my male cat has been known to hang with and walk with the turkeys when they come into the yard. He doesn’t seem frightened of the deer but he does keep his distance. “Those suckers are big” thinks Mike the cat.

  5. Melissa, what a fun post this is. You are so lucky to have so many animals at your backdoor.

Rainy weather here today, so no birding runs. Happy Friday :-)

  6. Cute photos, same here with the weird weather. It has been in the 30s and 40s for two months here in MN. And no snow :( Very unheard of!
