wall dancing

Here come the toms. This group looked brighter than usual...a sign of excitement. They did spend more time chasing after one another and acting aggressively.

This guy has a larger snood than most around here.

The regular wall walkers.

The jerky yearling...looking good despite its bully personality.

Thanks Helen. It’s foreign to have all this color in late December photos! Hope you and your family are well and have a great New Year.

  2. That second shot is fabulous. The golden background makes the turkey really pop!

Thanks – that’s why I loved it too! I love it b/c the gold of the dead grass, green of the lawn and red of the turkey was enough of a rainbow to catch my eye.

  4. Wall walking….We have mall walkers here. Those are people that go to the mall on a daily basis and walk all around the place following a pre-ordained route. They time there “laps”, and even have a mall walkers club. This is for excersize, by the way.

Now back to your “wall walkers”, I am sure they don’t have a club, but they sure look good in your photos, Melissa.

Happy New Year to you, Jon, Leah, and Krystal. :-)

      Happy New Year Bob!

Our mall actually has mile markers along the walls. (: Too bad they don’t have softer floors for those walkers.

Ha Rev. Paul they’re on their 2nd week of vacation… no entertaining snow…I am tired! Plus my out-laws don’t remember their wireless password so I go days without internet there. It’s a lot like Advent. (: Kiddos are scheduled to return to school Tuesday and we have word we are about to have 8 inches of snow Monday night- of course!

  6. Hi Melissa,

I never see groups of toms like that. Usually it is one tom, his harem, and some chilluns. Maybe their behavior is different around these parts. A harem – LOL – only in my formerly youthful dreams!!!!
