OK, long exposure – but did you move the camera or the lights? I think the camera. Very cool however you did it!

I practiced when we went to Chicago last spring when I took pictures of lit buildings late at night… light at night is bizarre to us, thankfully.

Wonderful trails, sure to bring back some illusory, hallucinatory memories for a few Grateful Dead fans! Very cool picture – especially the careful manipulation/random chance occurrence leading to these great shapes.
