  1. Chuckle. I absolutely love the Muppets. I used to even watch Sesame Street, – as an adult. I think they are hilarious. :-)

    Thanks for sharing the videos.

It was fun to re-see some of these shows when my kids were younger. And so many of the characters and people on the shows were still there.

  2. Never realized how cool Debbie Harry was until coupled with swallotails & Muppets (pretty good band, too, & it wasn’t even Dr. Teeth & the Electric Mayhem!). I suspect this song will be in my head awhile now. That was fun!

Scott, I used to work with a bunch of telecom techs in Chicago and they would constantly talk about running into Debbie Harry in the clubs back in the day like it as the best thing to happen to them. (: They LOVED her. I loved Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem myself with Animal being my all time favorite.

  3. Yeah, I remember always being absolutely mesmerized by Debra Harry too!
Muppets were always interesting as well.
You know there’s a Muppets Movie in theaters now, don’t you? I’m going to take a lady friend to see it since I didn’t get to do that with my grandson last weekend. They are great for all ages.

It may have been my first exposure to bedazzled shirts and boob shakes. My girls mentioned that a lot of their classmates had seen the movie this past week so I knew it finally came out (I’d been seeings lots of promos through November.)

So I read your were seeing the movie with a lady friend and I said a “wooooooooooo” in a sing song voice outloud. I told the girls, “My friend Rev. Paul is going to see the Muppets w/ a lady friend of his.” and they both did the same “oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh woooooooo” We’re a family of obnoxious teasers (:
