Melissa Fischer. wild in Michigan. naturalist

OPENING DAY….a rare golden day

Temperatures were warmer than average yesterday soaring into the  60° F  range. The average temperature this time of year is in the 40° range ….a big swing when you’re hoping to haul a hundred pounds of raw deer meat safely.
Opening morning of fire arm deer hunting season in Michigan arrived in heavy fog.

The fog still sitting heavy around 9:30 am.

  1. Good morning, Melissa. What a gorgeous photo of the Chickadee! And the foggy pics are equally so. But you know me, I am always drawn to the wildlife pictures first. :-)

Thanks Bob. Now that the temps are a little colder the chickadees aren’t a bit shy. (: Happy Wednesday!
