Melissa Fischer. wild in Michigan. naturalist

Come on…. I need to kiss you.

...let me kiss you.

the East arm of Grand Traverse Bay, September 2011, Elk Rapids, Michigan.

looking out the window during the day…..a Grasshopper.                                                                                                   Females have two pairs of valves ( triangles) at the end of the abdomen used to dig in sand when egg laying. Do you think this is a female? Should I clean the windows now that school is in session?

looking out of the window at night.....The underside of a Gray Treefrog.

Shout out to my loyal reader and provider of outfits and dancing shoes, Tina Castillo (cas-tilll-o), ha ha.
