being offline is not easy…. and I’m excited about a rare connection

We’re away from home and I’m offline. It’s hard. I feel blind without a constant radar connection to scope out the weather and not knowing the temperature at all times. (well…it’s hot…90 degrees and above at least) I can finally feel my feet again being out of the air conditioning, but it makes for lazy days.

this is what 5am looks like in Michigan.... kids get excited about being on vacation and wake up at ridiculous hours.

Lake Michigan

Cedar Waxwing. A pair is making a nest outside our cabin door. Turns out they're noisy all day and evening...but not TOO noisy.

Thanks Helen. It was a great time and wonderful to be back home too! What a bonus to have all the gardens and pots nicely soaked after the long heat thanks to the rain. What a time saver.
