Great Spangled Fritillary

A rainbow along the airplane contrail clouds in Ada, Michigan.

Day 10 for this monarch caterpillar. I'm guessing it will start to hang upside down tomorrow before it begins its pupa stage.

A male Eastern Bluebird and three juveniles.

    Thanks Helen. I think the adults are beginning a third nest. The young ones come to my broken bird bath (and barely holding water) every evening.
