Green Heron or plastic bag? This time I could tell it was a heron was hunting at the pond's edge.

We spent last night at the park searching in vain for a caterpillar. No luck.

I still have only found the one in our front and I have more milkweed than ever. I saw a monarch lay eggs out there though so maybe in a few days I’ll start seeing eating holes int he leaves….? I found a leaf down the raod w/ 8 eggs on it just in case the home front continues to disappoint. I’ll share!

I absolutely LOVE the caterpillar pics. You should turn those into a kids book! Kids of all ages would LOVE to look at the pictures! Madelyn found it very neat!
