Time to nest

A wren is starting a nest in the box a woodpecker enlarged the entryway. A nesting pair of Robin’s is spending a lot of time chasing the singing male wren from the area. I’m doubtful the wren will use nest box for long, despite the beautiful twig nest it built inside the box.

House Wren

A Chipping Sparrow flies in to check out the nesting box.

Thanks Kel. I noticed my pics have been extra blurry the past two weeks or so and just checked my camera settings yesterday… accidentally set to take pictures in the dark. That flying one would have been great to have had the settings been right!
