I never……

I never saw a meadowlark, this kind of thrush, or House Sparrow hatchlings until yesterday morning. I don’t think my heart rate during yesterday morning’s walk was anything to brag about though.

An Eastern Meadowlark... way off in the distance.

Thrush... I think a Hermit Thrush and guessing a male since there was a lighter colored thrush nearby.

House Sparrow hatchlings. I hope my Mom is proud I let them nest...

The trees and bushes surrounding the farm fields were packed with male birds singing for mates.
