What in the world? The local ugly squirrel got uglier.

Looking into the House Sparrow nest. Are those letters near the black and white feather? I think it's something that weighs 1.55 ounces

A Hershey bar wrapper tucked behind the woodpecker feather in the House Sparrow nest. Garbage birds love garbage. I'm thankful for their help with the spring clean up.

Five House Sparrow eggs.

Love that squirrel – he would go perfectly with our vulture cardinal.

Mom have you seen the vulture cardinal again? This squirrel didn’t have as much black a few weeks ago. I wonder if it’ll be all black by summer?

The squirrel is from the coast and got caught in the BP Oil Spill.

I’ve never seen so many different squirrels in one area. I’ve seen all black with a white tail and I’m wondering if that’s how this one will end up. It’s easier to keep track of with this fur pattern though!

  5. I love him! If you’re going to shame him send him over to our house. We love jacked up animals. He can hang out with our deer that appears to suffer male pattern baldness.

My Mom started seeing a bald cardinal about the time your balding deer showed up. Their hair must be waiting for warmer weather!
