Migration

Deer cutting through the yard yesterday and keeping a relaxed eye on me and the neighbor's dog.

The Buffleheads are migrating and just enjoying a quick stop. Blurry picture, but it shows the small size of the Bufflehead ducks compared to the Canada Goose and Mallards.

Bufflehead ducks diving under water together.

and then they maintained this pose for a while...

Uncle Tom- I do love watching all these critters! The frogs are getting louder and louder now too. (: So much fun. I don’t mind the spelling one bit either so no need at all to be sorry!! Thanks for being a loyal reader. Love you so much!

  2. I love your photos! Took the dog for a walk yesterday and saw 6 deer. We watched each other for a few minutes before the dog finally notice them, then it was over. Of course it was the ONE time that I didn’t take my camera with me :(

HA Cathy that just happen to me this week too. The one morning I didn’t bring my camera to the bus stop (and embarass my kids- hee hee) we saw 7 deer slowly cross the road right next to us. Not grabbing the camera is almost guarantees seeing cool stuff. Is you dog’s name Chuck? If it is I love it. (:
