flying breasts

Last spring I posted something titled “bare breasts” referring to a nesting Robin’s brood patch. It’s almost bare breast season again. I’m sure all those people searching “bare breasts” are thrilled when my bird nerd blog pops up.

Today’s spring sounds: a loud (obnoxious) flock of Red-winged birds, a few robins and a Sandhill Crane.

I could hear this robin squawking before I saw it fly by.

winter view.... I like the fall view the best of the four seasons (shown in the blog header), but I'm always most excited to see the spring view.
