Dead beat Dads

This afternoon two single horned bucks chased a larger buck through the yard. I missed getting a picture of them, but this dark guy wandered through just a minute later. He's buck #3. Buck number four brought in the rear.

Buck 3. It was exciting to see all these guys in action, but they are no help in raising the little ones.

This was the fourth buck I saw running around the yard. There's a bad reflection over its bottom.

A young willow that suffered damage by a rub last year. I hope they're using the sumac this year.

A bluebird cleaning out a nesting box. They'll roost in the box now that the nightly temperatures dip into the 20's.

Excellent! I’ve never seen bucks passing through our yard. And why aren’t you posting one of these great pictures on blip??

Ok, I see I already responded earlier. Well, at least I’m somewhat consistent :-)
