Stick in the box

Female Baltimore Oriole.

A male Cardinal, juvenile Chickadee and male Rose-breasted Grosbeak.

Life is busy.
The first batch of fledglings have learned to fly.
The robin’s are building another nest 20 feet in the air after being traumatized by heavy construction equipment at their last nesting site.
The five young bluebirds are about to fledge any minute.
My baby turned 7 and my best friend is about to fly the coop.
I think the kids being out of school is stifling my low-brow humor.

Great bird photos, as always. Hope you are enjoying your summer, in spite of your friend moving! And ah, a 7 year old – awesome. My “little” guy just turned 26 – yikes!!
