summer friends….. some are jerks, scaring me to death

Mother robin... she's a very light gray and easy to recognize.

It's a boy!

One of several shallow grassy nests lined with fur in the tall grass.

Not sure who or what builds them, but they LOVE the tall grass!


Feeding the baby downy woodpecker. His head feathers are rusty rather than red.

The recently fledged robins.


So blurry, but it's a warbler.

Just missing the bluebird house with five newly hatched birds.

The robin nest is directly behind the cement truck

    How did it all go with the cement mixer? I bet it went quickly, and now you have a nice spot in the back – is that where the pool is going? Great photos (( as always!! Love them))!!!
